Who we are

Group Six Digital, LLC ("Group Six Digital," "we," "us") is a Kansas limited liability company operating in Temple, Texas. We build and host websites and provide IT services for businesses.

This policy covers this website, groupsixdigital.com, and anyone who contacts us through it. If we built or host your business's website, or you used a site we built, see When we build or host websites for our clients.

What we collect

What you give us. When you use our contact form, we collect:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your phone number and business name, if you add them
  • What you need, your timeline, and how you heard about us
  • Your message

If you email us directly, we keep that email.

What we collect automatically.

  • Where you came from. We note the link or campaign that brought you here (for example, a Facebook post or a flyer QR code), the page you first landed on, and the page you came from. We keep this in your browser for the length of your visit. It only reaches us if you send the contact form.
  • Basic technical data. Your IP address, browser, device type, country, and the pages you view. Our hosting and analytics provider records this.
  • Security check data. Our form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. It looks at signals from your browser to do that.

What we ask you not to send. Please don't send health information, payment card numbers, Social Security or other government ID numbers, bank account details, or passwords through our form or by email.

How we use it

  • To reply to you and write your quote
  • To schedule and hold calls
  • To run, secure, and improve this website
  • To see which marketing brings people to us
  • To block spam and abuse
  • To keep business records and meet legal obligations
  • To feature a client's testimonial or project, only with that client's permission

We don't sell your personal information. We don't share it for advertising.

We don't send marketing newsletters today. If that changes, every email will include an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We share information only with companies that help us run our business, and only what they need:

  • Cloudflare. Hosting, security (including Turnstile), website analytics, and sending email from our site. Cloudflare's privacy policy.
  • Email and office tools. The services we use to receive and answer your messages.
  • When the law requires it. We may share information to follow the law, respond to legal requests, or protect people, our rights, or our systems from fraud and abuse.
  • If our business changes. If Group Six Digital is sold or merged, your information may move to the new owner. This policy would still apply to it.

Each provider has its own privacy policy. We don't allow providers to use your information for their own advertising.

Cookies and tracking

  • No advertising cookies or pixels. We don't use them on this site.
  • Website analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It doesn't use cookies, and it doesn't follow you across other websites.
  • Security check. The Turnstile check on our form may store small pieces of data in your browser to work. We use it only to stop spam.
  • Your browser's session storage. We use it for the "where you came from" details above. Your browser clears it when you close the tab.

Because we don't use tracking cookies, you won't see a cookie banner here, and browser privacy signals like Global Privacy Control don't change anything on our site.

Before we add any advertising or tracking tools, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

How long we keep it

  • Inquiries that don't become projects: 24 months, then we delete them.
  • Clients: while we work together, plus as long as tax, accounting, and legal rules require us to keep records.
  • Technical logs: a short time, then they're removed automatically.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner. We'll do it unless we're required to keep it.

Your choices and rights

Email web@groupsixdigital.com to ask us to:

  • Tell you what information we have about you
  • Correct it
  • Delete it
  • Send you a copy

We may ask you to confirm who you are first. We'll reply within 45 days. We handle these requests the same way for everyone, whatever state you live in. Some states, including Texas and Colorado, also give residents legal rights over their personal data. If we turn down a request, reply and tell us why you disagree, and we'll take a second look.

You don't have to fill out our contact form. Using your rights won't change how we treat you.

Children

This site is not for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), limit access to the people who need it, and rely on Cloudflare's security features. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that your information will never be accessed without permission.

If a breach affects your personal information, we'll tell you and any agencies the law requires.

When we build or host websites for our clients

Some of our clients' websites collect information from their visitors, such as contact form messages. When we build or host a site like that, we are the client's service provider. This section explains how we handle that data. It adds to the client's agreement with us. It doesn't replace it.

  • We act for the client. We handle a client's site data only on the client's behalf and by their reasonable instructions.
  • We don't use it ourselves. We don't sell it, and we don't use it for our own purposes.
  • We use infrastructure providers. Hosting, database, and email delivery companies help us run client sites. They may process data where they operate. Clients can ask us for a list.
  • We use reasonable security. That includes HTTPS, limited access, our providers' security tools, and careful handling of passwords and keys. No system is perfect.
  • Breach notices go to the client. If we find unauthorized access to a client's site data on systems we manage, we'll tell the client without unreasonable delay. The client decides how to notify its own visitors and any regulators.
  • We delete data after hosting ends. Clients can ask us to delete specific records. After a client cancels hosting, we keep the data for 6 months, then permanently delete it. Backups may hold deleted data for a short time before they expire.
  • We limit what we collect. Unless we agree in writing, we don't build features that collect health information, payment card numbers, government ID numbers, bank account details, or biometric data.
  • Each client needs their own privacy policy. Every client is responsible for the privacy policy on their own site and for following the privacy laws that apply to their business.

Did you use a client's website? That business decides what its site collects and why. To see or delete your information, contact the business first. We'll help them respond.

Changes to this policy

We'll post changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll make it clear here.
